The $100 Rebate Card is a $100 prepaid Visa® debit card. Purchases on the debit card are deducted from the card's available balance. You can use the $100 Rebate Card anywhere that accepts Visa® debit cards. There is no need to apply for this card as you would a credit card.
Start by using Apartment Yellow Book to find your new home! If you find a property that features the $100 Rebate Card, tell the leasing office that you found the property using Apartment Yellow Book when you visit. After you lease, just report your lease to us on the Apartment Yellow Book website, or mail in your request form to: Apartment Yellow Book, P.O. After you lease, report your lease on the Apartment Yellow Book, mail in your request form to: Apartment Yellow Book, P.O. Box 25017, Lakeland, FL 33803 or email us @ info@ApartmentYellowBook.com. Please include: your first name, last name, community you leased with, your community manager or leasing agent, your new address, phone number, email address, approximate date of signing your lease and reference whatever documentation you used to confirm Apartment Yellow Book as your source with your community such as, guest card, application, or lease agreement.
If you (or anyone leasing with you) has signed a previous lease agreement, has a previous relationship with the property, or is merely renewing an existing lease, you will not qualify to receive a $100 Rebate Card. Only one $100 Rebate Card will be granted per lease signed. If different cosigners of the same lease submit separate lease report forms, one $100 Rebate Card will be granted for the first form received and verified.
You must submit your lease report form within 30 days after moving to the property. You can also submit your lease report form prior to moving in.
Confirming your lease and processing the Rebate Card usually takes 8-10 weeks from your move-in date or the day you report your lease, whichever is later.
No. You can use the Rebate Card as many times as you wish until you reach the $100 limit or your card expires (whichever comes first). For instance, if you use the card to make a $25 purchase, your Rebate Card will still have an available balance of $75. You can always check your available balance by going to www.GiftCardLab.com and reviewing the history of your transactions.
A credit card provides you with a line of credit, which you have to pay back. With the Rebate Card, there is no line of credit and no bill to pay. You simply use the Rebate Card to make purchases until you reach the $100 limit or your card expires (whichever comes first).
All cards are purchased at GiftCardLab.com and must be activated before use. The card comes with a Customer ID on the back, unique to each card. Please have this ID and the 16-digit card number and go to www.GiftCardLab.com and select "Activate Card". You can also call 1-888-799-0028 to activate your card.
No, there is no fee to activate your Rebate Card.
Your Rebate Card comes in the form of a prepaid Visa® debit card. The card's issuer may impose fees that will be deducted from the available balance on the Rebate Card. For example, the card will begin assessing a $4.95 monthly maintenance fee if there is a balance remaining after 6 months from the date of purchase. You can use your Rebate Card to purchase goods and services at any merchant that accepts Visa® debit cards.
Your Rebate Card is a pre-paid debit card. However, in order to complete successful transactions, you must select the payment option of "credit" (not "debit") at the point of purchase.
At certain merchant locations (such as grocery stores), the merchant may require that you swipe your Rebate Card yourself. At these locations, make sure you choose "credit" as the payment option. Though your Rebate Card says "debit" on it, you must choose the "credit" option in order for your transaction to be accepted.
No, your Rebate Card will not work at ATMs.
Yes! However, you will have to go inside to the register to pay with your Rebate Card. Unfortunately, the Rebate Card cannot be used to "pay at the pump."
Yes. However, you should be aware that it is common practice for the credit processors at restaurants to temporarily authorize an amount on your card that totals 20% more than the bill you receive (in order to reserve an amount that includes an anticipated gratuity) until your final signed receipt can be processed. For example, you may have a restaurant bill for $25. When they swipe your card, $30 will be temporarily authorized until your signed receipt for $28.75 is processed. It can take up to a week for the temporary authorization to be adjusted to reflect your final receipt. Please be sure to account for this practice before using your Rebate Card at a restaurant.
Yes. When you "check out" at an online merchant, select "Visa" as your credit card type and then provide your Rebate Card number and the expiration date. If the merchant asks for your billing address, enter the address where your card was originally sent (however, if you have contacted customer service to change your address, use your updated address). If the merchant asks for a 3-digit security code, you can find it on the back of your card—it is the last three digits printed in the signature panel.
No. You will not be able to spend more than your available balance. If you attempt to do so, the merchant will decline your transaction.

It's easy to keep track of what's left on the Visa Gift Card. Enroll the Visa Gift Card online at www.GiftCardLab.com to view your balance or call their Customer Service 24-hours a day using the phone number found on the back of the Visa Gift Card. A merchant will not be able to tell you how much money you have remaining on the Visa Gift Card. Knowing your balance before shopping will help assure that the Visa Gift Card has enough funds available to pay for your purchases.
Yes. You can find the expiration date on the front of your Rebate Card.
In either case, the Rebate Card may no longer be used. Simply destroy the card.
If your card is lost or stolen, call the GiftCard Lab Customer Service Center at 1-888-799-0028 as soon as possible so that the card can be canceled and replaced. As long as the lost or stolen Visa Gift Card is reported immediately, the recipient may not be responsible for any unauthorized charges. After the Visa Gift Card is canceled, a replacement card with the remaining balance, minus a Replacement Card Fee that will be deducted from the card balance. Please refer to the Cardholder Agreement for additional information.
We may cancel a Rebate Card if we discover that any of the requirements outlined in our $100 Rebate Card Policy have not been satisfied. For example, if Apartment Yellow Book is informed that a Rebate Card recipient did not fulfill the terms of their new lease for at least 30 days, that renter forfeits the Rebate and we will cancel the $100 Rebate Card.
