The $100 prepaid Visa® debit card is offered for many, but not all of the properties advertised in the Apartment Yellow Book guide and website. Look for the $100 Rebate Card logo. If the advertisement does not include our logo, that property is not participating in the $100 Rebate Card offer and renters will not be entitled to receive the $100 prepaid Visa® debit card. Nor will renters need to report a lease for the property.
The Following Are Requirements To Qualify For The $100 Rebate Card:
- You Must Lease a New Apartment Home Using Apartment Yellow Book.
Residence is required. You must sign a new lease and move into the rental property. Then the property must validate that (1) your name appears on the lease agreement as an occupant; and (2) you have actually lived in the unit for more than 30 days.
- The Property Must be Listed on Apartment Yellow Book.
To qualify to receive a $100 Rebate Card, the property must be listed on Apartment Yellow Book.com and/or in the Apartment Yellow Book printed guide and you must find the property using the Apartment Yellow Book. Please refer below to see the additional details. Renters will not qualify to receive a $100 Rebate Card if they find their new home using other online or offline resources or are otherwise associated with the property.
- Apartment Yellow Book Must Be Able to Confirm Your Information.
Apartment Yellow Book must be able to confirm your lease and occupancy with your new landlord and confirm your use of our website or our printed guide for you to qualify for the $100 Rebate Card. You must either:
- Register on ApartmentYellowBook.com prior to leasing your apartment
- Contact your new community by using the phone number listed on ApartmentYellowBook.com or printed guide prior to leasing
- Tell the leasing office you found the property using Apartment Yellow Book by indicating to the community leasing agent or manager at the time of your visit and listing Apartment Yellow Book as your source on a document such as your guest card, rental application or lease and any other paper or electronic documentation. This helps us verify your use of Apartment Yellow Book to find the property.
Reporting Your Lease. You must have signed a new lease at a property you found on Apartment Yellow Book. After you lease, just report your lease on the Apartment Yellow Book website, mail in your request form to: Apartment Yellow Book, P.O. Box 25017, Lakeland, FL 33803 or email us @ info@ApartmentYellowBook.com. If you (or anyone leasing with you) has signed a previous lease agreement, has a previous relationship with the property, or is merely renewing an existing lease, you will not qualify to receive a $100 Rebate Card. Only one $100 Rebate Card will be granted per lease signed. If different cosigners of the same lease submit separate lease report forms, one $100 Rebate Card will be granted for the first form received and verified.
Submission Deadline. You must submit your lease report form within 30 days after moving to the property. You can also submit your lease report form prior to move-in.
Expected Timing for Receipt of $100 Rebate Card. Processing the lease report form usually takes 8-10 weeks from your move-in date or the day you report your lease, whichever is later.
Receiving Payment. Properties who use our pay-per-lease model only pay a fee only when their Apartment Yellow Book advertisement results in a lease. Therefore, qualifying renters who request a $100 Rebate Card are only paid their Rebate Card once their community has paid their obligation to Apartment Yellow Book.
